ZULU REBELLION.

Coloxel Leuchars, with two squadrons of the Umvoti Mounted Rifles, proceeded to Bokinyoni , Hill, on the Zululand side of the Buffalo River, on Monday, and surprised a party of rebels camped there. In the fight that took place eight of the rebels were killed. Colonel Leuchars then encamped on the hill, and was joined by the Sibindi impi of friendly natives. Yesterday morning it was discovered that 600 Faku and Mehloka Zulus and Mtelis were advancing to the attack of the camp. ' The enemy had the advantage of good cover for the advance. When the rebels were within fifty yards they were received with a heavy rifle fire, and soon retreated. The troopers and the Sibindi natives pursued the rebels for some distance. Of the rebels 57 were killed in the repulse of the attack, and 13 more in the pursuit. One rifleman was killed and three other whites wounded. The Sibindis fought splendidly, and expelled the rebels from a donga in which they took refuge. After the engagement Colonel Leuchars returned to Krantzkop, in Natal. FIGHT IN THE BUSH. FORTY REBELS KILLED. (ReceiTecl'May 30. 11.7 p.m.) PIETERMARITZBURG, May 30. A reinforcement of 500 men is being sent to Colonel Mackenzie. Colonel Mackenzie's force has had an engagement, with the rebels in the bush in a. valley near the Insuzi River. Forty of the rebels were killed. SURRENDER OF REBELS.
