Invehcargill, Friday. The Hon. C. H. Mills received several deputations to-day. The fruit importers asked for better facilities for the transit of Island fruit to this end of the colony. The Minister said the difficulty was to get a fortnightly Steamer service, and the Government had called for tenders for a new line from and to Dunedin.
