The tilly that carried Sir Daniel Cooper's colours to victory at Newmarket on Thursday last was one of the leading performers of last season, winning three out of the four

races she contested as a two-year-old. The races in which Flair proved victorious were: The Imperial Produce Stakes at Kempton Park, the Middle Park Plate at Newmarket, and a Free Handicap (won under top weight) at the same place.
