TE AROHA ROD AND GUN CLUB.

j Tk Aroha, Saturday. The annual meeting of the Te Aroha Rod and Gun Club was field on Friday night. Present: Dr. Kenny (president) and a fair muster of members. Mr. P. Wild (secretary) reported that between 20,000 and 30,000 trout fry had been liberated in the creeks tributary to Waihou between Wairakau and Waitoki Creeks. They were reported to be doing well, especially in the Waitoki. Sixty to seventy good fish had been taken from 'the Te Arolia and Waihou Rivera. The balance-sheet showa. credit of £4, and was adopted. Thanks were accorded to the secretary and Mr. C. Wallis.(delegate to the Auckland Acclimatisation Society). Dr. Kenny was reelected president, and Mr. Wall is delegate. Mr. A. S. Mackay was appointed secretary. Ft was reported that 50"shags, had been destroyed during the season. Arrangements were completed for the distribution of any imported game allotted to the district, in localities where they would not be disturbed during the breeding season.
