Palmerston Buildings, Auckland, the following resolution, passed at a Special Meeting of the Council, held on the 6tli day of April, 1906, will be submitted for confirmation and operate as a, Special Order:— " That a petition having been presented to the Waitemata County Council, on the second day of March, 1906, and signed by not less than a majority of the ratepayers of the Whangaparoa Road District, who possess in the aggregate not less than half the ratable property therein, praying that the Whangaparoa Road Board be dissolved, and the District merged into the County; and such Petition having been published in the County of Waitemata, not less than one month before presentation, it is hereby declared and resolved, in pursuance of the " Counties Act, 1886." that the Whangaparoa Road Board lie dissolved from the Eighteenth day of May. 19G6; and that the Whangaparoa Road District is merged into the County of Waiteniata; and, further, that this Special Resolution do operate as a Special Order."
