ADVERTISING NEW SOUTH WALES.

Thk New South Wales Intelligence Department has made arrangements for an attractive exhibit from that State, to be shown in the British c«urt at (he Milan Exhibition, which is to be opened 011 May 36. The exhibit, consists of a set of 15 pictorial panels, each containing a series of lour splendid photographic views, besides a number of special panoramas, illustrating different phases of industry in New South Wales. Three of the panels are devoted to the wheat industry, from the operation of ploughing, with the aid of a large five-furrow plough, drawn by nine horses, to the harvesting, and transport to market. Other panels deal with mining, forestry, wine-growing, the principal buildings of Sydney, and harbour and country scenery, the wool industry, etc. '1 he panels are attractively prepared, and the photographs are large and well selected. Beneath each photograph is a- motto, advertising the State's resources and productions, and printed in English, Italian, French, and German, and each panel is surmounted by the name of the State, and the British coat of arms.
