THE SAN FRANCISCO MAIL.
The mail steamer Ventura is due from Sydney this morning, and is timed to leave for Pago Pago, Honolulu, and San Francisco at three o'clock this afternoon. She has a fair number of passengers for Auckland, and also for through ports, and a number will join the steamer at Auckland. The Ventura has a large cargo of wool, hides, etc from Australia for San Francisco, and it will be considerably added to at Auckland with lines of wool, flax, kauri gum, etc. The Ventura will call at Pago Pago, Samoa, on February 15: Honolulu, February 20; and is due" at San Francisco on February 26. The mails by the steamer are timed to reach London on March 10. The mail steamer Sierra with the British mails of London date January 13, having left San Francisco on contract time, January 25, is due at Auckland on Monday next, and proceeds to Sydney a few hours after arrival. ,
