CLAIMS OF J. J. MEIKLE.

Wellington, Tuesday. It is understood that the Government is in communication with the Chief Justice with a view of obtaining the services of two judges of the Supremo Court to sit as a commission to inquire into the claims of .1. J. Meikle for redress of grievances. It is anticipated that the commission will be set up at an early date.
