Blenheim, Saturday. The total for the 38 weeks of the New Zealand egg-laying competition is 1480. making a grand total of 69,498. and a weekly average per pen of 14.80. The highest layings for the week were:— Worthington's silver Wyandottes (Auckland), 30; Newport's silver Wyandottcs (Nelson), 28: Priddle's white leghorns (Blenheim), 26 : T. Weston's white Wyandottes. 26. The order of merit now runs:— 11. Lcßer (Levin), 1089: Brooks (.South Australia). 995: Marlborough A. and P. Association, 972: Miekshaw (Blenheim). 958: Jonathan Hudson (Blenheim), 945, all these pens being white Leghorns.
