A PRISONER ATTEMPTS TO ESCAPE. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Lttteltox, Thursday. About nine a.m. to-day Albert .Good, undergoing a sentence of five years for breaking and entering at . Wellington, attempted to escape from the gang working on Governor's Bay Road, at Lyttelton. He bolted into the Domain plantations, but was pursued by Warder Budge, who fired shots to intimidate him, and overtook and captured him before he had gone 300 yds.
