SANATORIUM FOR CONSUMPTIVES.
GENEROUS GIFTS. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION'.] CimisTCinrßCH. Wednesday. An offer by the trustees of the Cashmere Hills Estate, Cliristchureh, of a site for a sanatorium for consumptives, covering- over two acres, and worth considerably over £2000, was considered by the executive of the sanatorium for consumptives this afternoon. It was resolved that the very munificent offer be accepted, and a letter expressing gratitude was sent to the . donors. It was .reported that Mrs. Town-end had promised a donation of £1000, and it was decided to send a letter of thanks to her, with the undertaking that the name of her j father, 'the late Mr. Moore, of Glenma'rk, I should in some way be connected with the j institution. The sum of £2500 has now been promised apart from the site. I
