CHRISTCHURCH EXHIBITION.
FOUR DAYS' AGRICULTURAL SHOW.
[BY TELEGRAPH.— ASSOCIATION'.]
Chkistchukch, Wednesday. A imputation' from the Agricultural Committee of the -Exhibition waited on the Canterbury Agricultural and Pastoral Association to-day, asking that body to hold a four days' show during the Exhibition, instead of the usual three days' fixture. The committee offered the association a subsidy of £51000 if the proposal were accepted, the conditions being that the privileges granted by the association to its own members should be extended to members of all similar associations all over the colony, and that medals commemorative of the Exhibition .should be struck and issued as prizes. The association resolved to accept the offer and the conditions, subject to the expenditure of money being under the sole control of the association.
