During the quarter 20 new members were initiated, making a total of 185 on the roll. The single members numbered 94, and the married members 91, the average age being 30 years. After the court; had | closed a meeting of the Sports Committee was held and various matters in connection jjjg with the proposed excursion to Te Aroha on November 30 were discussed. A strong : | committee was appointed to carry out the' necessary arrangements. - '■ The plans for the new drill shed have been returned to Lieut.-Colonel Porritt wil'h the Defence Department's approval. I'be plans were forwarded to Waihi today, >so that tenders will be invited immediately for the erection of the new hall. Jj
