Ciikistchurch, Tuesday. At the Anglican Synod, to-day, a motion was adopted asking the Standing Committee to consider the question of salaries paid to teachers in Church day schools in the dioceee. A motion discouraging th© practice of Sunday funerals except in cases of absolute necessity was also agreed to.
