MEETING IN BERLIN. BRITAIN'S " MENACED COMMERCIAL SUPREMACY." By Telegraph— Aiioclation.—Copyrifht. (Beeelted October 0, 11.50 p.m.) Berlin, October 6. Dr. Graf von Posadowsky-Wehner, German Minister fo* the Interiov, addressing an important colonial congress in Berlin yesterday, said the nation was practising silent but tenacious perseverance in overcoming its trying colonial troubles. Professor Hefferich said that Germany required guns and ironclads to keep open her colonial markets from which she imported and to which she exported. British Imperialism was trying to set in motion the territorial anil political resources of its Empire on behalf of its menaced commercial supremacy. At a meeting of the Radical party in Berlin the other day it was urged that the German colonies were worthless anil costly.
