A few extra special lines of these, shipped direct from the growers, however, realised very high prices. The Sierra, due from San Francisco on Monday, has a small quantity on board, and if they pass the inspector will come to a very bad market-. Some locallygrown apples, chiefly Dochertys, are still finding their wav on to the market, but owing to having been held past their proper season, are not now worth to the producer what they would have realised two months ago, Poultrv was penned in numbers beyond that of . last week. .The b:cluing was very strong and prices throughout ruled high indeed.
