PAEROA-WAIHI RAILWAY.
[BY TELEGRAM.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Waihi, Saturday. llEGAluiiNCi the opening of the Waihi railway, Mr. Fitzgerald has received the following telegram from the Hon. W. Hall-Jonos, Minister for Public Works:—" reply to your telegram, I am informed that some miles of the lino yet require to bo ballasted, and I cannot at present fix the date of opening'. Will advise you definitely as soon as I can do so."
