MOTORS AND MOTORING.
Mr. E. Boekaert loft Auckland on Tuesday morning last on his 15 horse-power Darraeq motor-car for the Bluff, via Rotoriia and Napier. The car is fully equipped for the journey, and Mr. Boekaert has with him Mrs. .Boekaert and Messrs. Wychmusky, A. Cleave, and If. Rolloston. Preparations are being made by many of the leading Victorian, N.S.W., and South Australian motorists with a view to competing in the big Melbourne to Sydney Reliability Motor contest, to be held next November, Several enthusiasts arc importing new cars with the object of carrying off the blue riband motor control of Australia. The most, powerful and expensive cur that will compete for the Dtinlop Cup will probably be that owned by Mr. A. M. Fosters (Mall'ra), that gentleman having cabled an order to England for a 50 h.p. Talbot, which is to he delivered in Melbourne ill time for the November contest,
