Vienna, August 25. The Austrian Council of Ministers, with the approval of the Emperor, has decided that no orders of command in future shall be given in the Magyar language to Hungarian soldiers.

This decision has greatly intensified the feeling of the Hungarians towards the Austrian*.

There is n passive rebellion in progress in Hungary. The country is now governed by a Ministry without a majority, and the municipalities have refused to pay overtaxes or provide conscripts. The suppressing of the Magyar language as an official language in the army may be expected to hasten the crisis to a climax:.
