BANKRUPTCIES AND COMPANIES FLOATED. By Telegraph Press Association— ..,,:..'.. London, July 28. In 1904 the bankruptcies in the United Kingdom numbered 8631 and involved a loss to creditors of £9,372,000. This is the largest, amount lost during the last ten years, and £2,000,000 more than in 1903. A White Paper issued shows that the. companies promoted in the United Kingdom during ,1904; numbered 3831, with a nominal capital of £9,252,600. This is .the lowest -number since 1879. ;f * ' :
