GALBRAITH IRON AND STEEL COMPANY.

On Saturday last the Auckland directors of the Galbraith Iron and Steel Company, Limited, sent the following cablegram to the company's London representative (Mr. A. Robins) touching his message relating to the recent public demonstration of the process for converting ironsand into'iron and steel, in which ho stated that opinions were divided as to the success of the demonstration: —' What explanation can you, give? What is expert opinion? Have you any piospeets of improvement?" Yesterday the following cable message in reply was posted on the notice board at the Stock Exchange: "Difficulties can be overcome; press comments favourable, exceed anticipations. On whole report is satisfactory. Am , endeavouring to induce capitalists to come in. Will cable you again shortly."
