The well-known barque Laira, Captain Rogers, arrived from Lyttelton early yesterday morning, with a cargo of general produce, and anchored in the stream. The master reports sailing from Lyttelton oil the Bth ' inst., and mot with a continuance of light variable winds and calms throughout the passage. The barque will berth at the Ilob-son-street "Wharf this morning, and on discharge proceeds to Kopu, Thames, to load timber for Melbourne, at Gibbon's Mill. THE STAR OP ENGLAND. The T.vser liner Star of England proceeds to Wellington and the South this morning, and on discharge of her cargo from New York proceeds to Australia to load cargo for South Africa. THE MAORI. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company's steamer Maori is due at Auckland to-day, from London, and on discharge proceeds to Wellington and the South. THE TAVIUNI. ] The Union Company's steamer Taviuni. Captain W. Stevens, arrived from Fiji at 9 p.m. yesterday with a cargo of raw sugar, fruit, etc. After the usual inspection, which will be carried out at 7 a.m. to-day, the steamer will berth at the Hobson-slrcet Wharf to discharge her consignments of fruit, and then, proceeds up to Chelsea to put out her sugar shipment.
