A very pleasing ceremony took place on board of the Huddart-Parker steamer Victoria yesterday afternoon, the occasion being a presentation to Mr. T. A. Millen, chief steward of the steamer, who is retiring from the service to take up a position on shore in New South Wales. The presentation took the form of a handsome spirit kettle, suitably inscribed. Captain Waller, the commander of the Victoria, made the presentation, referring to the high appreciation in which Mr. Millen was held by. all on board, and wishing him every prosperity in his. new position. Mi-. Millen having made a suitable-reply, several toasts were proposed and responded to.
