■:• Pekin, July 2. The' Government of China havingreceived urgent representations on the subject, from' China's Minister at; Washington, the Viceroys and. Governors of the Chinese : provinces in which the boycott of American goods is being organised have been ordered to stop the agitation. ' ;
The boycott of American goods is ex-; .v tending over the . world. It was largely caused by the illegal exclusion from the. % United States ; of Chinese merchants and "" others who had no intention of remaining. President Roosevelt has ordered the Customs / Department ; to refrain.from excluding those i.V exempted from the Immigration Act. :■'■:".! -'v'
