ELEVEN MILLION DOLLARS FOR EDUCATION.

Washington, July 1. Mr. J. D. Rockefeller, the "Oil King," has presented 10,000,000 dollars to the General Education Board incorporated by a recent Act of Congress. The gift is to be devoted to the furtherance of higher education. He has also presented 1,000,000 dollars to Yale University.
