NORFOLK ISLAND.

[FROM : OUR OWN"' CORRESPONDENT.]

June 27. The Southern Cross, missionary yacht, Captain Sinker, arrived from the Islands early this morning. She has visited all the mission stations, and brings a good all-round progress -report. The Revs. Robin, Nind, Brother Bourne, Mr. Staples and 30 natives were passengers to this place. The Bishop of Melanesia was left, at Siota well, but time did not permit of -the vessel going to Now Guinea to meet him. Now districts were opened at New Georgia' and the Pavuvu Islands, and other satisfactory work carried out. The weather here continues bleak and boisterous, with occasional rain squalls. A complaint in some respects like influenza is going the rounds just now.
