ENGLAND AND THE UNITED STATES.
A COMMON BROTHERHOOD. By Telegraph—Press Association.—Copyright. London, May 7. A farewell banquet was given at the Mansion House to-day to the retiring Ambassador for the United States in London, Mr. Choate. The Prime Minister (Mr. Balfour), who was present, said he rejoiced that the United States was bound to Britain with ties more permanent than material interests, viz., a common brotherhood.
