ST. SEPULCHRE'S MAY FAIR.

AN EN'JTIA DAY

Tin-: thiu day of the -May Fair being held in St. Sepulchre's parish hall drew good attendances yesterday, both in the afternoon and evening. In the afternoon the visitors >vere treated to a bright rendering of the song, "When the Heart is Young," by Miss Vinia de Loitte, of the Williamson's Opera Company. Tor thi.s song Miss de Loitle received a ver* decided encore, to which she responded. The Maypole dance was again given by 12 children. More than £100 has so far been realised. Great interest is being taken in the art gallery. This department of the bazaar is in charge of Mrs. Bachelder, assisted by the Misses YVulkins and Blades, and Mrs. Henderson. The realistic winter gardens have done exceptionally well. The stallholders in all branches have also been kept busy. Last evening a fare* entitled, The Quiet Family," caused much amusement. ; In response to frequent requests, the Failwill be opened from seven o'clock to-night till ten o'clock. A splendid programme has been arranged, audi everything possible to make the last night an enjoyable one has been done.
