Educational. ————— « ■ QRAMMAR t^CHOOL. The School Year is divided into '.hree terms, and begins in February. Pupils commencin the study, of Secondary Subjects are recommended to enter the School at the beginning of the year's course. The Fees for Paying Pupils are due on the first day of each Term. For Pupils over 13 years of age they are £3 10s per Term, reduced to £3 3s where more than one member (over thirteen) of the same family attend. The fee for each pupil under thirteen is £2 16s per term. First Term, 1905, began February 6th. Free Pupils are admitted at the beginning of the School Year in February in accordance with the Regulations under the Secondary Schools Act 1903. A Pupil is qualified to oe th« holder of a free place if— (A) Ho is the holder of an Education BoarJ or National Scholarship, provided .at the value of the Scholarship is not renter than £40.in the case of a Pupil obliged lo live away from home, or £10 in any other case; or if (B) Being not over fourteen years o» acre on the .-Ist of December preceding the date of his adrrission he lias, before entrance, obtained a certificate of proficiency as defined by the Regulations under the Education Act. 1877, or has qualified for a free place m the examination for Junior National Scholarships. or has obtained a Certificate of Proficiency at the examination for Junior District Scholarships. % The Headmaster is prepared to advise the parents of pupils from the country districts in the matter of securing residence in town for their children Notice of withdrawal or a pupil should be given before the last day of a term. Applications for admission should be made to the Headmaster at the School, or to Mr. W. A. Gumming, 315, Victoria Arcade. The parents of children who desire to to be admitted to free places are recommended to send a written application to the Headmaster as soon as possible after the publication of the list under which their children claim to bo qualified.
