THREE CLAIMANTS TO A DORMANT PEERAGE.

•A third claimant to the. earldom of Milltown La.', arisen, in tlio person of Mr. Charles Herbert Leeson, a, Liverpool insurants manager, wb? lives at Russborough House, Meols, near Southport. Tho earldom has lain dormant since 1891, when the j seventh earl died unmarried. lie succeeded his elder brother, who was married but t had no issue, and he in turn succeeded his elder brother, who never married. Thus the fourth carl was the father of tbi fifth, sixth, and seventh earls. The Committee of Privileges Ijas yet to decldo who, if anyone, is to be tlio eighth earl.
