THREE CLAIMANTS TO A DORMANT PEERAGE.
•A third claimant to the. earldom of Milltown La.', arisen, in tlio person of Mr. Charles Herbert Leeson, a, Liverpool insurants manager, wb? lives at Russborough House, Meols, near Southport. Tho earldom has lain dormant since 1891, when the j seventh earl died unmarried. lie succeeded his elder brother, who was married but t had no issue, and he in turn succeeded his elder brother, who never married. Thus the fourth carl was the father of tbi fifth, sixth, and seventh earls. The Committee of Privileges Ijas yet to decldo who, if anyone, is to be tlio eighth earl. The three claimants to the title —Charles Herbert Leeson, who claims as descended from "■ :-/jj • cousin of the first ml; John Leeson, who claims as the third 6on of the second soli { of the third carl, and Robert Vvilliam Frederick Leeson. who claims as a grandson of the , , third son of the third carl.
