A REMARKABLE CONCESSION".

Rome, April 27. There is excitement in Home owing to a report that tie Turkish Gover-nor-General of Tripoli (Abdulrahman Bey) has given a 99 years' concession to a French company for the reconstruction of the port at Tripoli, their payment to consist of the right to collect the Customs duties.

London, April 28.
The Government of Turkey states that the report as to a French company having obtained a concession from the Governor-General of Tripoli is without foundation. The French Government also denies the report.
