[BY TELEGRArH.— ASSOCIATION.]
Dixedjn, Friday. ANOTHER constable was suspended to-day, for having in his possession articles of which, it is alleged, ho could give no satisfactory account. This makes three suspended and two in custody. The total value of the articles is about £75. They include rugs, stationery, brushes, wines, spirits, etc. Outside the articles taken from the D.T.C., in connection with which two men are under arrest, none of the articles have been identified, and the police intend to exhibit them in a room on .Monday, in the hope of finding owners. There is at prevent no reason for supposing anyone outside the force was concerned in the matter.
