A DUNEDIN TRAM ACCIDENT.
CLAIM FOR DAMAGES.

Dcnedi.v, Thursday. Mr. Winnowsok, S.M., to-day, gave liis reserved decision in the ease in which an expressman named Stevens claimed damages from the City Corporation through being run down by an electric car. Ilia Worship decided that- the accident was brought about by plaintiff's carelessness and negligence, and he had not proved that the motorman. had not used a proper amount of care to avoid the accident. Judgment was given for defendant, with costs £8 8s 6d.
