The Russian Nihilists who are local in Switzerland are preparing for circulation in Russia 1,000,000 circulars, in which they advise their fellow countrymen not to proceed to the Far East. Nine ot' the prominent leaders of the Nihilists have made a statement, that a general revolt is to take place in Russia within a few weeks. It will open in Moscow and then spread to Warsaw, Ivieff, and St. Petersburg. A manifesto, signed by 117 literary, political, and scientific Russians, has been published in Stuttgart, in Germany, and Zurich, in Switzerland. It refers to the cruel knouting of female students and other girls in connection with the demonstration; in St. Petersburg of December 11? though they had not taken any parti in the disorders.
