GORED BY A BULL.
<, . — i MicimornNK. December 30. At Sale to-day W. J. Gibbs, proprietor of an aerated water works, was gored by a bull. He had purchased an Ayrshire bull some time ago, and kept it in a yard opposite the works. He went to unloosen the bull, and the beast turned on him and knocked him against the fence, goring him viciously. A blacksmith named Glass picked up a steel bar a, d went to the rescue. He knocked the V, ,li down with the bar. Gtbbs was much „ed, part of his groin and the calf of one ii being torn away. His head was much battered? and one rib was broken. He is expected to recover.
