KIRIKIRIROA ROAD BOARD.

The Kirikiriroa Road Board met on Friday. There were present: Messrs. Gordon (chairman). Paterson, C'aitty, Johnstone, and I Davis. Mr. Thomas Napier wrote offering to extend his contract to build the bridge at Crosby's gully to the name plan and specifications as | Geake's bridge. Otter accepted. It was resolved to obtain an estimate from Mr. Napier for removing Powell's bridge, and placing it on a new line of road over a drain which it is proposed to cut. Mr. Ohitt.v's offer to get the bridge track from Kirikiriroad school to the tramway made lor £5 was accepted. The clerk reported that the expenditure amounted to £956 lis 7d, and the rates collected to date £685 6s Id, leaving a, debit balance of £276 lis 6d; accounts to pay to date, £136 Is 7d making a total debit balance of £412 7s Id.
