SUICIDE BY HANGING.
[itV TELEGRAPH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION - .] Wellington-, Sunday. A:: inquest was held yesterday on the body of Joseph Rogers Clark, of Newtown, who was found hanging in, his residence on Friday evening. A verdict of " Wilful suicide" was returned. Deceased's wife and stepdaughter said he had frequently threatened to tako his life. Deceased was 56 or 53 years old. The wife said they had been married seven years, and during the whole of that time she had never seen him properly sober. During the past 18 months lie contributed practically nothing to the household expenses.
