MISTAKEN IDENTITY CASE.
THOMAS SENTENCED. By Telegraph' Press Association Copyright. London, (September 10. The man, William Thomas, alias Dr. Meyer, who committed the frauds for which his double, Adolf Beck, served terms of imprisonment, has been sentenced to five years' penal servitude. Mr. Justice Phillimore, in passing sentence, said that Thomas' offence had been aggravated by his allowing an innocent man to suffer for his crimes.
