MR. ROOSEVELT AND TRUSTS. By Telegraph.— Association.— New York, September 12. ■ President Roosevelt, in a letter accepting his nomination for the. Presidency, denounces the insincerity of the attempt to identify tsjK: iff revision with the solution of the problem relating ■' tijj trusts. ; Tib© evils of trusts are, he says, only remediable on the national lines taken by Congress and the United States Executive during the last three years. The President adds: "When protection is modified it must be done witb the utmost car** and iii & conservative spirit."
