ANTARCTIC EXPLORATION.
THE DISCOVERY'S RETURN. By Telegraph—Press Association— London, September 4. Preparations are being made to give the officers and men of the Antarctic exploring ship ; Discovery a great reception on their arrival in London. A luncheon is to be given them at London Docks, and the Lord Mayor and representatives of the Admiralty, of the Royal Society, and of the Royal Geographical Society will attend. The Royal Geographical Society will next day, give a ban- ' quet to the officers and to the members of the scientific staff of the ex pedition. In November Captain Scott, commander of the expedition, will read a paper before the Geographical Society ob the work achieved^
