The Aparima left Calcutta on August 4, and called at Singapore, leaving that port on the 13th. Passed Thursday Island on August 25. and arrived as above. Generally fine weather prevailed during the voyage, on August 22. one of the shafts, which had been carved, gave way, but the (ragiue-room staff promptly effected repairs, and the ftefjaa«r made excellent time.
