AN APPEAL CASE.
A QUESTION OF LIABILITY. By Telegraph.—Preas Association.—Copyright. London, August 2. In the action brought by Messrs. Reuben and Ladenbuvg against the Great Fin gall Consolidated Company (West Australia), the Appeal Court has reversed Mr. Justice Kennedy's decision that the company was liable to pay £20,000, which plaintiffs had advanced to Mr. A. S. Rowe, since convicted of forgery, and who at the time of the transaction was secretary of the company. The case will be taken to the House of Lords.
