General Booth, presiding in Albert Hall, at the inaugural reception of the Salvationist Congress, comprising 6000 delegates from all parts of the world, including 50 from Australasia and 400 from America, stated that the King at the recent audience permitted him, had said that he had watched the movements of the Army with great interest, and regarded its success as of importance to the Empire.
