By Tclegrapk..T-J'««ii Association.—Copyright. London, June 25. The Rev. Dr. Alexander Mackennal is dead. Dr. Mackennal was senior pastor of the Congregational Church at Bowden. He was chairman of the Congregational Union of England and Wales in 1887; president of the National Council of the Evangelical Free Churches, 18:39-1900; vice-president of the International Council of Congregation, ahsts, which met at Boston, U.S.A., in 1899. He wrote several books on religious subjects.
