WELLINGT ON STREET IMPROVEMENTS.
[BY TELEGRAPH.— ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Thursday. The City Council to-night adopted a. report recommending street improvements in the Melrose Ward territory recently included in the city boundaries under the Greater Wellington scheme. The recommendations, which involve an expenditure of £50,000, will be submitted to the Melrose ratepayers for ratification.
