APPOINTMENTS GAZETTED.
[BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, Thursday. Alexander Macdotjcall is gazetted managing agent for the sale and distribution of coal from the New Zealand State coal mines.
James Bishop is gazetted manager of the State coal miue at Coal Creek, also to have control and supervision of 'the State coal mine at Seddonville.
William Cullen and Alexander Ramsay are gazetted inspectors of machinery and examiners of candidates for certificates of competency as engineers of sea-going steamships or of steamships plying within restricted limits.
