Corporation Notices. AUCKLAND! ' CITY TRAMWAYS. Notice is hereby given that on TUESDAY, the 26th day of April, 1904, a Poll will be taken of all Ratepayers of the City of Auckland who desire to forbid the Body Corporate, called the Mayor. Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland (hereinafter called the Local Authority), from granting or leasing to the Auckland Electric Tramways Company, Limited (hereinafter culled the Company), the full and free and sole and exclusive right, power, liberty, and authority to work and use the Undertaking known as the City of Auckland Tramways for a. term of Two Years from the date of expiry of the existing concession to the Company granted by Deeds of Delegation Nob. 1 and 2 from the Local Authority to the Company, dated respectively the 23th day of June; 1900, and the 23rd day of July, 1903. at or lor the rent and consideration and subject to the covenants and conditions more fully set out in a certain notice by the Local Authority of their intention to make such grant or lease unless forbidden by the Ratepayers under " The Tramways Act, 1894," advertised in the NEW ZEALAND Hkbald and the Auckland Star newspapers of the 11th and 12th days of March. 1904. The Polling Booths at which such Poll will be taken between the times of 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. on the 'twenty-sixth day of April. 1904, are: — (1) Hospital and Charitable Aid Board Office, Chanoery-street. (2). City Hall. Victoria and Queen Streets. (3). St. James' Hall, Wellington-street. (4). Foresters' Hall, Karangahape Road. (5). Ponsonby Hall. Jervois Road. (6). Notice is hereby given that in conformity with the Municipal Corporations Act. 1900. and of the Eighth Schedule thereto, it is the intention of the Grey Lynn Borough Council to Fix the Levels of Sackville. Warnoek, Peel, and Hope Streets, and Maxwell. Greenwood, and Wellpark Avenues, according to the levels shown upon the plans deposited at the Council Chambers. Grey Lynn.
