CHARGE OF LIBEL.
Melbourne, April 16. Mr. McCormiok, the publisher of the newspaper the People's Daily, liar been committed for trial on a charge of criminally libelling Sir Malcolm McEacham in his capacity as Lord Mayor, by alleging that he was interested in certain municipal contracts.
