FATAL RESULTS OF ACCIDENTS
[BY TELEGRAPH.OWN CORRESPONDENT.] I Paeroa, Saturday. The young man David Dean, who met with an accident in the railway tunnel at Karangahake on Friday morning, died at ,an early hour this morning. Deceased was ▼err popular in Karangahake, where he has been resident for some time. He was a prominent footballer, and a member of the local Lodge of Druids, and was also a member of one- of the contingents that left this colony for South Africa. The remain? will be interred on Monday at Pokeno, where his relatives reside. . [bt telegraph.—press association.] Wellington, Sunday. Allen McLean, single, aged 29, employed as a sawmiller near Martinborough, who was injured through falling from a coach whilst returning from TauSerenikau races, at Easter, died in. Greytown Hospital yesterday.
