CANADA AND THE CROWN.
By Telegraph.—Press Association.— ~ : (Received March 16, 10.3 p.m.) Ottawa, March 16. In the Canadian House of Commons Sir Wilfrid Laurier, in reply to Sir F. W. Borden, the Opposition Leader, said that Canada, while desiring power to negotitate treaties, did not intend to dispense with Britain's power. Canada would never negotiate a treaty without reference to the Crown.
